    But there’s new leaders in the NBA these days. It used to be about lack of hotels supposedly. Now I’m guessing because much of the US thinks Portlands a shit hole.

    Dead serious the past few times I’ve gone on vacation and people asked where I’m from and said Portland, you could tell by reading them that they were judging.

    I fucking love it. A few years ago when people I worked with around the country knew I was from Portland, they would talk about how amazing the city is. Now they look at me and ask if I feel safe there? It’s hilarious.

    I think it’s simply about money.
    I honestly don’t think an issue with gambling 35 years ago and a rash of protests supporting BLM are making a huge impact.
    Now if the city gets a wnba team things might change for the better?
