speaking of Aminu, I ran into him a few days ago in Tokyo. Was with his daughter and father. He seemed very happy.

Best game of the season!!!! That was a blast!!! Screw the naysayers!!! We are a 35-40 win team if fully healthy and will only get better in years to come.

If fully healthy, will Ayton and Simons be starting and playing big minutes??

Who Cronin is building around isn't set in stone, ask Damian Lillard.

Clingan is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

    Aminu is a good call.

Wes Matthews was great to, not as lanky as those others but physically tougher.

That would probably be my group; Pippen Wes Aminu Camara. Super impressive Camara is there in his 2nd season.

There was a partial standing ovation when Clingan got up off the bench to come back in after taking a shot to the groin.

It's great to see his and Shae's growth. Scoot still misses teammates by 5' at times. Some of the worst passes you'll see in the entire NBA. I'm hoping he can get rid of the ridiculous turnovers.

Was Sharpe kind a celebrating after that 3pointer in 4th?

Had almost forgotten what competent, winning basketball felt like. Quite enjoyable.

I think Haberstat gave a different answer for this. Does anyone remember?

    Answer:
The record for the most consecutive games with a block by a rookie to start the NBA season is held by Victor Wembanyama, who achieved this feat during the 2023-2024 season. He recorded a block in each of his first nine games as a rookie, showcasing his defensive prowess and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

Tonight was Clingan's 13th game to start the season.

    Onwards to maybe 16 wins.

Hopefully! This season doesn't matter, that's the only fact!

Scoot's defense is getting better, though.

Different kind of defender than Camara in that he uses his strength, but his feet are plenty quick. His hands are so strong that he can dislodge the ball or just rip it away from even bigger guys.

I wouldn't sleep in him just because the expectations were so high and he isn't anywhere near them, but Scoot's starting to show more and more flashes. Just needs to calm down out there and definitely has to show he can do this consistently, but his defense has been noticeably improved ... he's not Dame/Ant-level of a liability on that side of the court, not even close.

The Answer is that 13 is the 8th highest in NBA history, in consecutive games of having a block to start a career.

The record is 57 games to start their rookie season, by Alonzo Mourning in 1992.

Bill Walton is ahead of Clingan with 15 straight games to start his career.

What Clingan has done hasn't been done in over 20 years.

Hope not. They just proved they can win without them and play more fun basketball at the same time.

If Clingan gets the minutes he can win ROY.

Did we just win the inner season championship or something?

Once again, the team looks better without Ayton and Simons.
