First of all FAMS….I don’t know why you are yelling at me. What happened to me and your sister was like a decade ago and trust me she wanted it!
Second of all FAMS…..Last nights game had no effect/affect on tonights other than OKC lost a game they probably felt they should have won easily and will take it out on us…..just like I took it out on your sister a decade ago! #BAM

And thirdly of all FAMS….. I just won this argument!

OKC was highly favored to beat our team handily regardless of the situation.

If you look at teams trends on the 2nd of a back to back they on average perform slightly worse. OKC slightly worse is still much better than our normal play. Bobobrewski logic makes sense, the B2B should help our chances to win tonight.

So maybe instead of a 7% chance to win maybe we're at 10%. Yeah we're likely getting clobbered no matter what.

No I don't buy the thinking that since they lost they're more likely to now win tonight. Teams on average don't generally play better after a loss, it's normally the same level of play or if anything the opposite.

People said the same about Minnesota then we beat them again. In a one game sample anything can happen.

@SlyPokerDog I’m being harassed again on here. It just gets so frustrating that I follow the rules and get reprimanded and nobody else does. It’s like I’m being bullied!

ESPN shows Thunder as an 11.5 favorite but that the betting opened with them as 14 points favorite.

Another site I show live odds of +12, with money line as +500 PDX and -650 OKC. So split the difference and it's +575, which is Blazers should win one in 5.75 games or a 17.4% chance to win.

So it's a big line but I kind of expected our odds to win to be lower.

It's not enough for me to consider any bets, but would sure be exciting if we win. We have a chance slightly better than rolling any single number on a dice.

That would imply you've read his posts, which, your prior post states you didn't/don't.

Pick a side a stick with it. :)

I don't think it'll change much either way, its just one game of an 82 game season. Even if we win Friday it doesn't change a ton either, although those would probably be our two most impressive wins of the season.

We have a hard schedule the next 8 games. If we win two then drop all 6 we're a bit better but still close to where many expected with this team at 8-14. I'd need to see this team be close to .500 or close to that 10th seed for more weeks into the season to really start changing my opinion of where they can ultimately end up.

I will say that it has been very surprising the last 3 wins we have been led by excellent play from our youth. Seems like our vets have played even worse than their detractors thought was likely this season, especially Ant and Ayton. So while we ultimately might be a similar team to what many expected in the preseason, it would be much better for our long term future to have our youth playing so well.
