Clingan rolled an ankle, great

 

We ALMOST had the perfect game and then Clingan had to go down awkwardly in the last minute.

Scoot started because Deni was out and Sharpe moved to frontcourt.. fine. Now bench Ant.

 

Scoot was really chasin' that 40 piece in the end and went a bit ISO crazy..Ant had finally hit a 3 which put us close..game over. Greatest offensive game of Scoot's career, no doubt

 

Simons and Ayton both minus 19. Jabari somehow minus 15 in five minutes!

 

Looking at the schedule I could see us losing from now until the trade deadline... we'll probably get a surprise win or two in there but I just hope the games are competitive and losses.

Ben Simmons is a unicorn...at one pt I checked and I think he had 4 pts..11 assists and 8 boards.in not many minutes...don't know what he ended up with but .at 7ft who does that? The guy was amazing with Keon tonight...they had it going.

 

Now it's minus 20! WTH?

The other team scored 17 more points than us while he was in the game.

 

The Glasses (my nickname for the Scoot/Sharpe/Clingan core) produced 64/20/10/5/1 tonight. Clingan was a +6. The future looks bright.

I'm happy with the outcome but lets be honest here. The Nets rolled into the game with a G League lineup and they could probably score at will with their eyes closed. This team is hopeless.

 

39 points on 18 shots is a helluva game!

 

The defense had a real problem getting matched up on defense quickly. then there was a lot of over-helping as usual.
