Is Reed a point guard or can he play point guard in a pinch? I haven’t heard anyone really describe him as a point guard.
I heard he didn't do well against pressure. Panicked a bit when trapped. So my guess is, sure in a pinch, but not without help bringing it up the court.

If we had a spectacular small ball 5 like Bam then it would make sense for us to draft a guy that brings a completely different look off of the bench. Also if we had an established roster drafting for situational back ups would make sense. Neither of those are where we find ourselves.

To quote Walt Whitman: "I am large, I contain multitudes." To try to defend myself a bit more: I think Topic is a much rarer talent. His passing and finishing is just elite. I loved Sergio and this guy is a taller, younger Sergio. Whereas I couldn't give a shit about people like Wally Szczerbiak, which is best case scenario for Knecht. (Also: Topic is much younger, yet has played against a much higher level of competition.)

I would just hate that for lottery picks. Really want nothing to do with Clingan at 7, and given a choice between he and Edey at 14, I take Edey. Can’t say I have invested much time on second rounders. I would rather package them with 14 and move up if we don’t have a deal cooking elsewhere. Only so many roster spots, but there always are steals in the second round. Or should I say surprises?
