Geez, with Carter and Isaac and Mo, I had completely forgotten about Goga. Embarrassment of riches at the center position. They need to let one or two of them go.
I understand and agree that in this current climate that they make that much because of the absurd numbers teams rake in, but: No CEO, no player, nothing is worth $100 a mil if we too aren't paying the people that actually make a difference in this world. Oh, and make sure you give professional teams the least amount of money possible. I wish everyone did that. Until they stop gouging us.
Laker fans are currently hoping Buddy Hield will be the chosen one, who will restore order to the LeBron Dynasty.
Yeah, when you include other super rich people and think about the people that educate children who don't have luxury or even more so the people in our food supply chain that often times are working overtime just to clear our poverty line. There are some things that are definitely out of whack.
the nicer Laker podcasters figured it out. LeBron is going to take supermax salary, so he can buy the Lakers after he retires.
He'd have to have plenty of partners, as I doubt he could buy the Lakers. They're valued at almost 6 billion (and I'd bet they'd go for more than that).
His advanced defensive metrics are much better, however much stock you put in those, but not offensively. And I don't think Simons has even reached his full potential, I think he'll get better at getting to the rim and FT line, which is a skill Lillard gained with age.
I could be wrong but I get a sense that Donovan's teammates don't like playing with him, both in Utah and Cleveland. Not good when you are getting paid that much.
