One thing OKC and Indiana proved this year is you need a deep bench to play defense 48 minutes in a game. That's what CB has indicated he wants out of his players. So you are drafting for that deep bench pick your position.

Hmm. Is it good strategy to let other teams know the player you really want AHEAD OF THE DRAFT?
Not sure how I feel about this if true. Sounds like we're replacing one no-defense tweener with another.

I'll be super-pissed if we give up assets to move up to get him. Unless those "assets" are Jerami.

I read it as subterfuge. If it was true I would be looking at Scoot being traded.

A few thoughts after today media availability with the green room guys.
    1. Cedric Coward seems to be such a nice guy. I really want to root for him. Marc Spears (Espn) seemed very interested in his background and I hope he write something about him.
    2. Egor Demin is a nice kid. Looks after Deni Avdija a lot as he is his the model of who he could become once his body has fully matured. Would love to play with him.
    3. Noa Essengue did indeed quit on his team to atetnd the draft despite having a final game this tuesday. Followed the score from the hotel before the availability. Spoke about the mixed feeling of this situation.
    4. Khaman Maluach is easy to root for as well. Nice guy. But we probably won't have to deal with him.
    5. Nique Clifford seems very mature.

I listened while working, impressive how many kids mentioned Tou as a defensive player they want to emulate and study.

Bryant, coward, kon, cmb all sound like they have a good head on their shoulders.

    Here's a summary of 10 different mock drafts -

    upload_2025-6-24_16-45-19.png

10 mocks and 5 different players predicted for the Blazers. It looks like Carter Bryant is the popular Blazer pick.

What a crazy draft year. Here we are 24 hours before the draft, and after pick #2, the predictions are still all over the board.
