When did the quality of players in summer league get so fucking bad?

Teams used to play their young guys a lot more. Why isn't Kris Murray playing? He hasn't earned shit yet. We had Bonzi and Jermaine and ZBO playing in summer league for a while. This shit is basically the G League but worse.

 

Resting his only good players? Gotta keep 'em fresh for the final stretch.

I mean, Summer League has usually been bad... this isn't worse than any other SL game I've seen.

On the other hand, if you're a Memphis fan, SL is probably great
