It's called defense. The Broncos had 400+ yards of offense, but only 13 points. The Seahawks were cement in the RedZone on defense.

Very glad the Seahawks beat Russell and the Broncos. Now I'm hoping they lose all the rest of the season so we get a top draft pick and get 1 of the 3 good QB's in the draft.

It's also called getting the bugs out. Team's that don't play starters in preseason have more hiccups early on. While, YES, the Seattle stops were admirable, they were aided by the Broncos getting their plays called late, lack of continuity on some plays, and time mismanagement in the final minute of play. The Broncos moved up and down the field. Once they get that continuity, they will be a tough offense to stop. Meanwhile, Geno, the great GENO, was a zero in the second half, once the Broncos defense pulled their heads out of their asses. Hats off the the Seahawks for winning. The crowds booing of their greatest quarterback in the history of the franchise during introduction was classless. Geno will return to being Geno, and your team will begin their tank for a top QB in the Draft.

Seattle didn't play their starters much either.

We will see how the rest of the season unfolds.

The Broncos didn't play theirs , AT ALL . The Hawks were trying to find their QB. Their starters played most of the 1st halves of games. C'mon Man. You don't actually think you're going to do anything but tank, right. I get it. You need a franchise QB. That's what teams who need that do.

If that's what happens fine. I see a team of young guns that want to win.

I don't really think losing two fumbles on the one yard line speaks well for the defense. More bad on the offense.
Denver should have won that game without question.

The defense played a part in that. The Broncos were supposed to have destroyed the Seahawks, yet Wilson only threw one touchdown. They kept pushing him to the left all night which was smart.

The Seahawks overall defense was not great. But, once the Broncos got into the red zone it ramped up to a whole new level.

So while I maybe some of it was the Broncos ineptitude, I will give the Seahawks their due. I hope they can keep it up and play even better into the season. Looking forward to them battling the Forty Niners on Sunday.

Not really? The Broncos were running away with that game. Even the biggest homer has to see that. I'm not a fan of either team so I'm pretty impartial.
Also. People putting that loss on Wilson were not being impartial either. He gave them every chance to win that game.
Seahawks got lucky on that win IMO.

Smith is gonna have a long game. Niners defense is not the same as the Broncos.

Or will it be Drew Lock by then? The way Smith played in the second half might give Carroll some pause?

Probably. Niners didn't play great defense either this past week.

How can a team be "running away" with a game they never held a lead in?

Two fumbles from the one yard line and two blatantly bad calls on consecutive drives will do just that.
