Yeah but were any of them really that hard to replace? It seems to me that it is pretty easy to find young players to fill out the bench. It is quality starters that are tough to replace, especially when it comes to quality players with size.
Was Jalen Williams a few weeks ago, but that looks like a long shot now. He may go top 20 at this point.
I KNEW I'd seen him somewhere before... Sammo Hung combination of girth and grace... There's no "lite" about him. But he's more Big Baby than Z-Bo. Or this guy (a Larry Brown favorite):
Here is one I saw Blazerkor likes and Tankathon rating system does too: https://www.tankathon.com/players/dalen-terry He is in Hollinger's Top Twenty: https://arizonasports.com/story/314...ts-dalen-terry-mathurin-in-hollingers-top-20/
Great prospect! I think he may end up having a better NBA career than Mathurin. Also, I'm the one who identified him in this thread.

Schmitz vast international knowledge could really help in the 2nd round. I think we might trade the #7, so finding a Terry Porter, Cliff Robinson, Kevin Duckworth, Jerome Kersey, etc would be huge in terms of adding much needed talent to this roster. Beauchamp? Nzosa? Isivic? Miller? Procida? Diabate? Badji? Mohammed?
Give me some Andrew Nembhard. Insanely good defensive player, good size at the PG spot, great floater. Needs work on his outside game. His shot is a little funky. But he was one of my favorite Zag players in recent memory and there was no flash to him. Just heady play and a dawg defensively. Billups would love him.
Well our new Assistant GM supposedly has one of the most complete scouting databases around the planet so I'm guessing he's got a wish list of unsung 2nd rounders..he also knows a lot about every bench player in the league who's either a bad fit or unused across the league...I'm stoked about hiring him. He knows the US, Latin America, European and African players...this is going to be a real asset for the front office when it comes to building a contender with a future...front office with a cap specialist and a talent evaluation specialist is a good combination. Schmidz is plugged into the league already...probably has an impressive network given his career arc and how successful he's been
I think he's been very smart on how he's approached his career and stayed unbiased and very professional. This helped him get an opportunity that many in the sports media would dream of, he wasn't just another sports media jockey. He was focused on a segment of the industry that requires objective analysis.
1. Leonard Miller, Canada 2. Yannick Nzosa, Congo 3. Ibou Dianko Badji, Senegal Length and athleticism. Development and time needed. 4. Gabrielle Procida, shooter, Italy [Edited/Added: Would love to get him at 36. Isn't like the above athletic bigs, but he's both dunk aggressive and nails from 3.]
