Yes I would say he definitely has a monster wingspan (7'8") I definitely want to use a 2nd round pick on a center.
Dianko Badji showed very little development and still looks like a deer in the headlights. Think Cheikh Samb. Timme’s skill/iq over Dianko all day
I would be happy with any of those at #57 Per https://nbadraftroom.com/p/2022-2nd-round/., Miller is at #41, Procida at #43, Badji #57 (to Blazers) and Nzosa, an UDFA at #64. Oddly enough, Nzosa was a projected Lottery pick earlier in the year in some mock's.
I agree. I think he will give a workman like performance every night, and be very advantageous to our team. He's a good free throw shooter, and has a nice touch. Granted it was college, but he saved his best for last, and to me, was Gonzaga's best player. Not the "Legend in his own mind" guy.
I believe Manu Ginobilli was a second round pick. Dennis Rodman, Nick Van Exel second round. Wasn't Draymond Green?
Timme: 6'8.25” barefoot 6'9.25” in shoes 7'2.0” wingspan 8'11.5” standing reach 231.6 lbs Watford: 6'7.5” Barefoot 6'8.75” in shoes 7'2.25” wingspan 8'9.0”standing reach 237.4 lbs
The one thing I really like about this kid is that at 7'3", he doesn't look proportionately like a 7-footer. Without the other people in the video, I might have thought this was a 6'4" kid throwing down on a nine-foot hoop. Unlike most ultra-big guys, he just looks like he's built to last.
there's more fluidness to him compared to Boban. But shooting against air is different than the NBA. Nurk looks like a three point king in practice.
True. And that's why at 19 and 7'3" he's still just a 2nd-round prospect. But if he's there at 57...why not?
Great size and some good skills, but seems like slow feet and he would get schemed out of a playoff game so fast. However, at #57, 'why not'? Although I'd prefer a more athletic big like Nzosa or Badji.
I'll be very interested in who they draft in the 2nd round, but I'll be judging them more on their decision to dump CJ2.
I like how Givony says he really shined in this setting. The setting of slow motion 2 on 0 basketball.
