I honestly thought Jazz would take this game, and then we'd finish it off at Staples. Glad our guys can get some rest now.
Lakers were great the whole series :O. I never believed they could do the sweep, but here we are. As playoffs started I was certain they won't win the title this year, but I'm getting more and more confident. As most of you didn't think much of the Lakers in the beginning of the playoffs, do you NOW think they can beat Cavs/Orlando in the finals?
Still don't think we'll win. We needed homecourt with this lack of depth at the very least. Bryant looks better but not at last year's level quite yet. But it has been a respectable run, we didn't lose in the early rounds.
I wouldn't make us the favorites, but we have an easier road though. The Jazz were somewhat underhanded and still beat the Thuggets. That's something they can feel good about. We simply had the better team.
I saw a tweet from Mike Trudell that the Lakers team bus backed into Boozers Escalade on the way out last night lol..... One last blow on the way out lol....
Last night was the Lakers that we need to see more often. They were great on defense, great on the glass, and efficient and dominant on offense. If we can play like this throughout the series vs. the Suns, there's no way they're going to beat us.
