I had planned on going today, but it's been a rough couple days for family members and I.
The man who passed away is the guy who coached me throughout my youth.
He might not be a blood relative, nor even the same skin color as I.
But none of that matters, he and his are family.
The world is a lesser place without him.

Actuallty I brought my camera and im REALLY glad we didnt use it.

Right now, i'm of the mindset, "okay. MY endurance is complete shit, but I played better than I thought." Some decent D on @hoopsjock (I know, im a fouler, lol)

But I KNOW, if I watch that video, i'm gonna be like, HUH? THAT'S what I look like? MY God. A one legged drunk ballerina with a broken toe driving to the hoop?

Yeah, Better left with the thought I played decent then having it etched in stone that I didn't.

Man I can not shoot with my back to the basket though . Took me a game to even remember the basics with the back to the basket. Look at the lines on the court to know where you are at, so when you make a move thinking you are three feet away, you aren't actually 6 ft away!!!!

And lets also remember I think I have a good ten years on the next oldest guy on the court, and @dviss1 don't count because he looks five years older than his son!

Hahaha I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I would run out of juice within 5 minutes of tip off. Would love to give a shot though.

 

for me it was within 5 combined shots form both teams, not 5 minutes. Lol. good thing I caught my second win. Allowed me to play for a few more shots. And THANK GOD @Bob Dobalina was there to tag me out. That guy can hoop too!

 

I'll be 39 in 4 weeks, 45 isn't that old.

 

Now I feel worse!!! shit....lol.

Oh and the team looks solid. @BonesJones has all around game. @dviss1 is quick as a cat with court vision, and @hoopsjock has size, mobility and I could see he's comfortable shooting from deep too. Good luck fellas. Hopefully I can make it out to see some games.

lol, I have a kid (42) older than you and not that far from the other ones. My youngest will be 32 this fall and my grandson is 20.
