I don't see the Kings trading Cousins this season. Maybe next year when they get off to another bad start and his free agency clock is ticking. They gave up draft picks to the 6ers so they don't have as much incentive to tank. I think they'd rather make a risky stupid trade and try to win now even though it won't work.
Maybe. But you didn't see the Kings trading for Rondo, or doing any of the mostly dumb things they've done (I think Belinelli was a good move). That's not a putdown, I and everyone else didn't see it either! George Karl's history is that he gets young players to play hard and play well in his system. The 3 players I listed would be fantastic in Karl's system. Karl has tended to butt heads with older players who get tired of his schtick.
Well if they did trade Cousins we have to give up something. Your proposal has us keeping our 5 move valuable players and getting their best. No chance of that.
Why wouldn't the Kings do it...swap rondo for rose...vlade would shit himself...the question is why would the Blazers do it?
I disagree...though Rondo may be better on the defensive end, Rose is the better player...look at the stats...if Rose hadn't been injured the last few years...they would be even further apart
Yes Rose has been injured, and many don't think he'll ever be the same. I'd rather have Rose the player but as an expiring contract I bet many teams would rather have Rondo.
My proposal has us trading 2 starters on a 4-2 team and giving up 1 starter on a 0-4 team, is another way to look at it.
Even in NoBody's exception case, you can't trade an exception for nothing or NoOne. You must include the draft rights to NoOne or a Top 55-protected pick, at minimum.
Haven't even seen Henderson or Alexander play yet and I like both of them..heck, Montero came cold off the bench and nailed a 3 in garbage time
