As some of you may already know, tonight marks the 300th consecutive time Arco Arena has sold out.

    Congratulations to the Kings!

Just some other little facts in case you were wondering

They have sold out 822 of 871 (94%) of their home games since coming to Sacramento in 1985

It not quite as long as their longest sellout streak of 497 from 1985-1997 which is the 4th longest sellout streak in NBA history (portland at 814, Boston at 662 and Chicago at 610 fill out the top three).

Damn impressive. What should be noted is when the Kings sellout, they really do fill every seat in Arco. A lot of teams post sellouts, but have hundreds of empty seats.

and another cool yet little known fact,

The Kings always hold back about 100-200 seats (usually in the nosebleed sections though) to be released for sale day of or day before games so its not impossible to be able to go to games... its just impossible to actually SEE the games from where you would be sitting.[IMG]

Well I heard majority of Sacramento is a very borind, slow place. So maybe that's the reason. [IMG] Going to a Kings game is probably like going to the movies for these people. Nevertheless, very impressive.

    capacity at arco is 17,317.

and sacramento is not exactly boring... there is some night life and a lot that you can do around here, but being that its a small market, its certainly not like LA, the bay area NY and other major market towns.

^What kind of trashy post is that? What does it have to do with the thread title? If youre going to try and knock the Kings atleast try to sound intelligent. I see the Kings recent prosperity has brought the haters out.

Sactown has great fans, too bad the Maloofs aren't two of them. This team is headed to Las Vegas because of the Maloofs greed. No Luxury$ boxes, no team. Now with the flood controversy there will never be a new stadium built with public funds in Sacto.
