Yeah, the 49ers need to focus on more important needs. I don't really see them getting Vernon Davis. What good will Vernon Davis do when you guys have no WRs?
About Eric Johnson; overrated my ass. Im sure havin him on the field will take less attention off of Lloyd and Battle. Last year they had pretty decent stats, and that was with the defense not focusing on our TE's. Lloyd and Battle have alotta potential, its just more playmakers are needed on the offense to take attention off of them. Davis will also be a huge key to Alex Smith's growth as an NFL QB, Im sure Alex Smith would love throwing to a freak like Duke Davis.
