The "Trump Assassination Play" is JULIUS CAESAR by William Shakespeare.
    Points to remember:
    1. It has been performed with Caesar made to look like just about every major American president.
    2. It was performed a few years ago with Obama as Caesar. Guess how many libtards made a huge stink about it?
    3. CAESAR IS A SYMPATHETIC FIGURE!
    4. The message of the play is that violence is NO SOLUTION. It in NO WAY endorses assassination.

But that would require comprehension and wouldn't stoke up outrage, right?

Best line about this whole pseudo outrage?

It's hard to imagine baseball arousing ANY strong emotions.
Your line reminded me of this:

I don't believe a play should be censored for political reasons......nor do I think any president gets a free pass from comedic roasting or criticism. If you watch the Merchant of Venice when they take the pound of flesh no one screams about torture in Guantanamo Bay. Movies have been made where they pretend the Nazis won the war...etc.....it's violence that's the problem, not social unrest.....see Martin Luther King or Gandhi....who's that guy in the public today preaching peaceful protest? Whether it's bombs or guns or knives used....violence is the issue we need to address and violence is escalating in our country by nutjobs ....Trump said he could shoot somebody on 5th avenue and still win the election......this is not leading by example. I'd bet that gun sales skyrocketed today across the nation.

    It's not about censorship.

If they have the first amendment right to put on this play, they have the right to NOT do so, AND we all have the right to condemn what they are doing.

They are certainly open to a lawsuit if something bad happens, incited by their "speech."

NYT Uses GOP Shooting To Falsely Attack Sarah Palin With Debunked Conspiracy Theory

The New York Times used the attempted assassination of dozens of Republican congressmen by a left-wing Bernie Sanders supporter to attack former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with a baseless conspiracy theory blaming Palin for inciting mentally ill Jared Loughner to shoot Democratic Rep. Gabby Giffords in 2011.

“In 2011, when Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in a supermarket parking lot, grievously wounding Representative Gabby Giffords and killing six people, including a 9-year-old girl, the link to political incitement was clear. Before the shooting, Sarah Palin’s political action committee circulated a map of targeted electoral districts that put Ms. Giffords and 19 other Democrats under stylized cross hairs,” the editors wrote.

They added later: “Though there’s no sign of incitement as direct as in the Giffords attack, liberals should of course hold themselves to the same standard of decency that they ask of the right.”

There is no evidence to support the conspiracy theory that Loughner, a schizophrenic, was at all inspired by Palin’s electoral map.

As CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out in response to the NYT editorial: “even way back in Jan 2011 we knew that Loughlin’s obsession began 3 years before the Palin map.” Tapper made that same exact point back in 2011 when he worked for ABC.

Other commenters pointed out the NYT’s bizarre and inexplicable dishonesty.

“The NYT editorial falsely claims Loughner shot Giffords due to a target on a photo,” Commentary editor John Podhoretz wrote. “It’s not yet 11. They can change it. Let’s see.”

Obviously the solution is to have EVERYONE WATCH THE PLAY, because it CONDEMNS VIOLENCE. You know who's ACTUALLY stirring up trouble? All of your "news" sites misrepresenting it.

not in your responses......I keep waiting but you want me to be what you hate so have at it....you can discuss a subject or insult those with different opinions. It's a shallow approach to discourse Marz....you don't define the tone of my concerns. Keep practicing...you're getting more and more like the guy you voted for...

That said, a lot of people like Kamala Harris. She's tough as nails and whip smart. And she reduces southern Leprechauns to quivering jelly, which is fun to watch.

It's all good fun until somebody gets shot. Although, you'd think the attacker would've tried beheading or stabbing, given how brainwashed he was by Kathy Griffin and Julius Caesar.
