Sure, I get that. But Hendrix and the Doors resonate more with me from that era and I was born in '67. The first LPs I ever bought, 3 on the same day were:

    Pink Floyd, The Wall
    Led Zeppelin, IV
    Queen, News of the World

Snow shoveling money when I was in Junior high, lol!

Sorry but I never referred to or heard of the Beatles era being considered a CULT. And I was there from the beginning.

...different strokes for different folks, I suppose. I'm a big fan of all those others you mentioned as well. I was personally never an Elvis fan but I know a lot of folks who are. It's just that I grew up with The Beatles and Lennon was a huge hero of mine.

...fwiw, Dark Side Of the Moon is still my fav all time album...wish I had a dollar for every time I listened to it from start to finish. It stayed on Billboard's Top 200 Chart for an unprecedented 736 CONSECUTIVE weeks ...thats over 14 fucking years.

...The Wall and Wish You Were Here were also classics.

...I did the FB thing for about 3 months. It was OK reconnecting with some old classmates and friends...but a few months ago FB decided what I could keep private and what I could NOT keep t private, so I said F' you and deleted my account.
...and it seems that more and more sites are requiring a FB account...they can kiss my ass too.

I thought it was a great show last night but I thought it would have been a nice touch if Sean Lennon (better choice would have been Julien) & Danni Harrison would have joined Paul & Ringo on stage to do a number respresenting there fathers. But all in all an excellent show.
