<div class="quote_poster">Quoting B-22:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah I know, lol I was getting a little to excited. But still if Webber has a better knee next year he should have a little more mobility, and therefore he could be a better defender when it comes to keeping up with players. Never the less I still think that lineup will be seen wether it is the starting one or not.</div>

I agree, if Webber's knee stays healthy he has the outside shot to play a little of the three in the league. Plus it may also be better suited for his knee later in his career so he doesn't have to go in the block too often. I would actually prefer that lineup, out front court would be a shot blocking machine, and our only true weakness on defense then would be the small forward spot.

^^ the only time it would work to have webber at the 3 on defense is if you play a zone where his mobility can be hidden a little bit in the zone. That's really the only time, because he'd get destroyed man to man.

i dont know about you guys, but i was very surprised that the sixers got hunter. that is because i read in another post in this sixer forum, that he narrowed his choices down to a couple of teams, and those teams werent the sixers. but this just shows that anything can happen in this league. good signing by BK. we now have a very promising future.

Actually, that article was a typo. Cmatt pointed it out a few posts under that article that we were still in the race, and another team had been placed in the article instead of us by accident.

Good pickup for the sixers.. he can only help them IMO. Also, its nice to see an officially listed 7 footer on the Sixers. I cant even remember the last time that was the case [IMG]

This is awesome for the Sixers, they got another young center (pf), combined with Dalembert the Sixers may potentially have 2 great big men on their hands for some time to come, while some teams struggle to find centers. I can't believe the Sixers got him, the Sixers have a realistic shot at the 3rd seed.

Is it me or does his contract look a little hefty? Yes, he's a good pick up, but is he really worth this much? We used up quite a portion of our MLE to potential. I think we already had enough of that with Korver, Dalembert and Green.
