QUOTE (Master Shake)

I just made an 100 dollar bet with one of my friends (a sixers fan) that the Raptors would win. Oh boy, they better win.

No need to worry.

24-22 Raps. Pretty decent so far...could definitely be better.
Anyone else hate the scoreboard on the bottom? I can't really see the score and the time.

I'm impressed by the offense. They're moving the ball well and moving without the ball, getting any shot they really want. Everyone's getting involved and the point guards (TJ Ford, in particular) are playing great. On defense, they play good for a couple possessions but aren't switching fast enough. Too many open shots and not quick enough on the Sixers' penetration. Hopefully they come out playing better after the half.
LT7, I agree with you on the scoreboard. It looks slick, but its too small.

The scoreboard at the bottom is way to small, lol.
Good game so far, Il Mago with a very good game and the PG's for the Raptors are playing well too.

Very good win. A little close for me, but a win is a win.
Bargnani was very good. He had 5 rebounds which is an improvement from last season and Ford with a very solid game. I loved the play of Kapono and Delfino. Both where playing smart, team basketball. 1-0 baby.

I hope Bosh wasn't 100% because he didn't finish strong on even one attack, it seems. At some point you have to stop worrying about somebody trying to foul you, assume you won't get the call, and crash the net determined to put the ball in.
Overall a pretty nice game. I don't think it was as close as it seemed, the Sixers are just undermanned.
Also, this two game threads thing has to go. I wonder how hard it will be to merge the ticker thread with a user created one.

Nice win, I just got home from work unfortunatly so I couldnt watch the game but from the looks of the boxscore Bargnani, Ford and Calderon all had good games.

I got one question, what was our intro this year and if anyone has a video of it can they post it?

Good game last night. But I didn't like how we gave up our 22 point lead, that has to change. Our deffence was pretty solid in the 1st and 3rd, but the 2nd and 4th, it wasn't so good.
TJ Ford and Andrea Bargnani played really good.
In the words of Chuck Swirsky...
Raptors Win, Raptors Win, Raptors Win!

QUOTE (MosDefinitely)

I got one question, what was our intro this year and if anyone has a video of it can they post it?

The intro is long. Starts with the drummers, goes to the Kanye West version of Stronger for a video montage, then finally cuts down to the players.
I don't see it on YouTube yet but keep checking back, it will be there eventually.

Bargnani carried the team last night, surprised Bosh didn't do more throughout the whole game. With a whole summer off, he should have come out roaring.
TJ had a great game, but if we give up 22 point leads on the regular there's no way we can hang with Boston.
