Personal jihad? That seems a bit over the top, in a post complaining about hate speech.

Why should you have seen a lot of that? What makes you think it was in Israel's best interests?

Yeah, maybe that should be the test - if Trump isn't sufficiently racist for you, then you probably need to be forcibly separated from society.

Probably some regrets there, I'm guessing.

People can like a post even if they don't agree with all of it or even any of it.

See the likes on your post for example.

I personally liked her post for two reasons, the biggest one is that she doesn't post often and she provides a unique perspective to many of the conversations that we have in the OT section. I often give likes as a way to encourage people to post more.

The 2nd reason was for this:

I thought it was a good point.

But, while I don't agree with your post I am truly sorry that me liking her post has made you sad. It was never my intention to make you feel that way. Hopefully me liking your post won't make you as sad.

I don't think that example shows what you think it shows. Didn't pretty much everyone inside the Alamo die?

I didn't say it was accurate..was not there myself.

Him being a teenage boy as proof that it didn't happen is ridiculous.

Do the math. Soros was about 11 at the start of the war and 15 at the end. Jews were barred from business. This is total absurdity but who needs facts when you have bigotry? Whitewash Nazis by pretending Jews were responsible for Holocaust. Same " reasoning" used by murderer.

I said it was loony koolaid that the right wing nut jobs are drinking. Same shit only reverse of the phrase "special interest" being anti Semitic.

The world is full of crazies. The left wing nuts need to look in the mirror.

A couple hundred Americans held off an entire army for 13 days, killing roughly 4 enemy soldiers each.

Seems to get the point across.

2019: Time to Make Canada Great Again
    Published on Nov 17, 2016

George Soros, the infamous multi-billionaire war profiteer, currency manipulator and master puppeteer, on CBS 60 minutes in 1998: "I am basically there to make money. I cannot and do not look at the social consequences of what I do." This man has admitted to selling out his fellow Jews to the Nazis during WWII. Soros has a long history of overthrowing governments in Ukraine, Macedonia, the Former Yugoslavia, etc. by manipulating stock markets through his off-shore investment funds and by funding 'democratic activism' through his "not-for-profit" groups like the Open Society Foundations. Today, Soros is funding the election campaigns of the politicians like Justin Trudeau and Hillary Clinton, and funding the protests of Black Lives Matter. Do not believe for a second that this man cares about African American lives, or Syrian migrants, or Haiti earthquake victims. He only cares about turning a quick profit on his personal investments.

Sure, that's why he gave away $18 billion. Because he only cares about accumulating money.

Well, the 'entire army' was only about 1500 men, I suppose armies were smaller in those days.
In any case the defenders of the Alamo not only lost, but were killed. Not exactly a success story.

He was 14 and surviving a trip to a death camp. There was nothing he could do but survive.

My God, there were Jews acting as a police force working withing these death camps. Should we denigrate them for surviving?

Funding your chosen ideologies and financing coups and wars which result in the collapse of economies and governments around the globe so you can make incredible profits from the misery and deaths of millions of innocent, mostly poor people, is how he "gives away" his money.

Not sure what you wanted us to notice there, but I take issue with Kellyanne's comment. The killings were most certainly political - it was all about HAIS's refugee work, not whether or not the New Testament is the word of god or some such.

Lost the battle but won the war.

The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 – March 6, 1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Santa Anna's cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians—both Texas settlers and adventurers from the United States—to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution.

    Pure BS.

There are literally hundreds of refugee organizations, most of them Christian based.

They were singled-out and killed because they, as is HAIS, were Jewish.

    Mission
HIAS rescues people whose lives are in danger for being who they are.
    • We protect the most vulnerable refugees, helping them build new lives and reuniting them with their families in safety and freedom.
    • We advocate for the protection of refugees and assure that displaced people are treated with the dignity they deserve.
Guided by our Jewish values and history, we bring more than 130 years of expertise to our work with refugees.
