    Denny -- space news.

Right at Japan's moment of glory on the Space Station, when their unmanned cargo craft, the H-2 Transfer Vehicle, is up there, the Japan space agency's headquarters have their ceiling cave in and their computers fall over.

The usual gimmick accounts are hi-jacking an otherwise somber thread.

Good job, you two. Hope you had fun dancing on people's graves.

It appears one of the reactor buildings exploded.

    This is unreal.

People die unexpectedly all the time. Humor is an extremely common coping response to sadness or fear. There have been many examples that prove it is not a coping mechanism of yours. I wish you wouldn't try to make people feel bad for this. They don't wish anyone to die. They aren't evil.

Re: 8.8 Magnitude Quake Hits Japan

Our coroporate-owned media continues to report on the tsunami and mostly ignore and bury the bigger story of impending self-genocide as 5 nuclear reactors are now threatening to completely wipe out Japan and pollute all points west of Japan forever with airborne and seaborne radiation.

As with 3 mile Island and Chernobyl, the lies and cover stories are already obstructing the public from protecting themselves.

The Japanese psyche is tightly wrapped in a strange combination of inflated ego and overblown fear of shame, preventing them from admitting how bad things are and continually refusing the very help needed to minimize the damage. The US needs to step in immediately, with military force backing them up if that's what it takes, to protect our citizens and the rest of the world.

These are the real WMD's, and they're going off as we speak.

Our media is reporting "Nuclear meltdown possible?" non-stop the past day or two.

No mention at all of how that will affect us here, in the direct path of the fallout. No mention of how to protect one's family from fallout. No mention of the devastation of the world's oceans and food chain that will result from the deliberate dumping of nuclear material into the Pacific that started yesterday. No mention of the fact that our government is doing NOTHING to protect us from this carnage.

Two obvious points. The media has had numerous experts on, talking about plumes and drift...

And why expect govt. to save us?

I don't. It's far beyond their capability in this instance.

But they have a responsibility to be open and honest with us and warn us of known threats to our welfare.

And there are steps they could take to minimize the threat.

Bloomberg seems to be corporate owned media. Good find.

(AGI) Washington - A US nuclear expert said the accident at the Fukushima nuclear plant is one of the three worst in history.
The head of the Ploughsares Fund, Joseph Cirincione, also warned that it could become a "complete disaster" unless a full meltdown of the reactor's core is prevented. According to the nuclear expert, "this is going to go down in history as one of the three greatest nuclear incidents if it stops now" after the 1986 Chernobyl disaster and the meltdown of the Three Mile Island reactor, in Pennsylvania, in 1979. Cirincione, however, claimed that the information provided by the Japanese authorities is insufficient. . .
