Thanks, 95.5 The Game. I waited over an hour listening to your canned advertising for the last 10 minutes of the 5th Quarter show. I know I'm not alone on this. If I can't get your internet feed for the postgame that means that thousands of blazer fans across the nation and world can't get it either. I'm betting that some of our servicemen serving in Iraq would listen to you Wheels, if they could. This is pathetic.

It seems more likely that they're keeping the feed unavailable on purpose than that they are consistently incompetent.

I don't know the rules about internet blackouts, but it seems possible.

Re: 95.5 The Fan == Idiots

Nah, sometimes I get to hear the postgame show on the web. Once I even got it right after the game. The NBA cuts their feed to the game right after it's over. The ball is in 95.5's court then. They're just oblivious that they're depriving probably thousands of people of the post game show. What's really sad is that they've got this bubble around them to where you can't even inform them of the problem. No email address's or phone number to contact them... is this any way to run a business?

They are a sports talk radio station. They blare out their phone number every 5 minutes. Are you really this clueless? :biglaugh:

I call (503) 417-9595 right after each game ends to tell them to turn the internet feed back on. I think they're sick of hearing from me. It would be great if a bunch of us all called.

They absolutely do not blare out their phone number every 5 minutes and your use of the crazy face and big laugh shows your level of maturity. As touchy as you are, you're the Chris is Portland that works there, aren't you?

Re: 95.5 The Fan == Idiots

That would be CHAD in Portland.

    http://jimrome.wikia.com/wiki/Chad_in_Portland

Supposedly of Jim Rome fame, but I think he's pretty much a loudmouthed douchebag.

As for you, your pissing and whining about "The Game"'s internet feed during or immediately after Blazer games is humorous, but ultimately worthless on here. I suggest that you use the contact information given several times on this thread, piss and whine to them, and see how far it gets you.

Re: 95.5 The Fan == Idiots

    1. There is someone at 95.5 that goes by the name of Cris In Portland. I know who CIP is. You didn't answer my question, are you that Chris?

    2. This thread that I am supposedly pissing and whining is not worthless, in fact it is how I've gotten the contact info I have.

    3. My grandson is serving in the military in Iraq. If I can't get the postgame show on the web, neither can he.

    4. There are blazer fans all over the country and world that are being denied the post game show. Not only are you not concerned, could give a damned less, but you actually giving me crap about it. You've got yours, so screw everybody else, right? My opinion of you is the same as your opinion of Chad in Portland.

    5. I will continue to post on this thread as needed to get the postgames on the web. This is my documentation. I will email this thread link to anyone and everyone I can in the blazer staff and the radio station.

    6. I guarantee Wheels and other higher blazer brass are going to be pissed when they find out. Wheels is bustin his butt to put on a great show only to find out that he's not reaching all his fans... for no reason at all other than some chowderhead is habitually forgetting to throw the switch.

I just wish 95.5 would slightly delay their audio to sync up with the game on television. I really do enjoy watching the game but listening to the radio call... What would it hurt to be hearing the call 10 seconds late.

Ever since "wardrobe malfunction" at the Superbowl everything on TV seems to have the 10 sec delay...

Re: 95.5 The Fan == Idiots

Since I have no idea who or what you are talking about, I'll answer with a qualified no.

Well, then, congratulations, your pissing and moaning got you the means to piss and moan to someone other than us. I consider that a victory.

So what? He's as stupid as you about not being able to find alternative feeds? Jesus, you really are new at this, aren't you?

See my response to statement #3.

I'm sure the people at "The Game" and the Blazers front office are shaking in their boots at the thought of your actions.

When it's warranted, it's warranted. I mean, come on. In this day of Google, I can look up pretty much anything about anything in a matter of seconds. And it's not rocket science. To come on here and piss and moan about his only option of listening/watching Blazer games to be at the whim of some internet geek at "The Game" is both ignorant and untrue, and I'm not the kind of person that let's that kind of shit slide when I KNOW that with the smallest of effort, he could have solved his own problem in a matter of minutes.

I mean, for god's sake, he could pay a hundred bucks and WATCH every Blazer game on his PC with League Broadband pass. Or pay 8 bucks a month for Sirius-XM and use their web streamer to listen to all the Blazer games he wants with no interruptions or problems. But no, he wants to just bitch about the freebee, easy situation that he's convinced himself is the only option.

In my judgement, that qualifies as an idiot or a moron.

Hey Einstein, I'm talking about the post game show. Not the game itself. I get the game just fine from NBA.com. But they cut the feed as soon as the game is over. 95.5 doesn't pick up the feed until much, much later.

Let me get this straight. You are pissing and moaning because I'm pissing and moaning, right. [deleted] At least I have a reason to complain. If you don't like my thread, don't read it.

Cool, the second addition to my ignore list. It is definitely warranted.

    Here's the latest:

I emailed Steve Scott (He's the advertising guy with the only email address I can find on their website" yesterday, sending him the link to this thread.

He replied very promptly this morning with:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will make sure that this gets to the right people.

    Thanks,

    Steve Scott

    Bless you, Steve Scott!!

I want to be very clear that I love listening to their station, in fact I find it very upsetting when I can't get my Wheels post game fix. My beef is with the person/persons that are supposed to be putting the show back on the web after the game. That culprit should be made to listen to an hour of their canned nonstop advertising. I guarantee he will be foaming at the mouth after 10 minutes, and will promise to never do it again.
