I can as well, but that doesn't mean it isn't having in impact on how fans, Nate, and potentially his teammates view him sitting out.
Absolutely. He's paid well enough to worry about all that. I'm not paid a cent to worry about him balancing out annoying people vs. health concerns, so I don't. I just look forward to when he's back on the court and hope he continues to fulfill his potential.
Depend on Oden?!?! The guy who just had micro fracture surgery, before one year in college with a broken wrist, and who now is trying to compete in the NBA the most competitive league in the world with minimal skills??? GO needs some time to develop his skills before anyone can rely on him no matter how healthy he is. This was never supposed to be a year we depend on Oden... If you thought it was than your lost.
I've said a few times between the two threads on this that I just want Greg to succeed and that it is clear that the team needs him right now. There is no doubt that the team is MUCH better with Oden being able to play.
I'm not implying you want him to fail. I'm just saying that I fully agree with you that he needs to ponder all those issues, he needs to ponder his own health concerns and come to a decision. It can't be easy, but fortunately I don't have to worry about it. I want to see him on the floor, for my own entertainment. As you say, the Blazers are a significantly better team when he's on the floor.

For starters, assuming every anonymous internet random quote is absolute truth. And how about someone assuming he/she/it is "everyone"? That person may think Oden is tanking it. "Everyone" does not.
