Besides, chanting SUPER SONICS at Wednesday's game isn't "cheering" for the Sonics. There are no Sonics. What used to be the Sonics are now the Thunder. Chanting SUPER SONICS is not cheering FOR the our opponent, it's cheering AGAINST them and their dickweed owner. BNM
Yes, and that message is: Your owner is a lying bastard, your team sucks and we hate you. I don't have a problem with that. BNM
I'm not sure everyone would get that. If anything I would think most would be confused if someone next to them was chanting Sonics . . . and then if asked, are you a sonic fan and to hear the explanation . . . I would be sorry I asked.
Hey, come on. I thought Blazer fans were supposed to be the smartest, most sophisticated in the league. No 'spaining necessary. BNM
I don't think it's going to do much good... but whatever floats your boat. MY question is this, aside from the "super-sonic" chant, which team will these people be rooting for?
I'm guessing most of them will be rooting for the Blazers due to an intense, deep-seated hatred of all things associated with Clay Bennett and Oklahoma City. BNM
Who gives an Eff? They bought tickets - whatever they shout is fine. Personally - I would not minding showing support for the people of Seattle - while they clearly need their head examined for living there when Portland is so close - it is still a better option than OK-City...
