<div class="quote_poster">Quoting jiggax23:</div><div class="quote_post">anyone who is on fire or starts to catch fire will "consistently" hit their jumpers at that moment. but in terms of consistently hitting it for the season, vince does not fall in that category, nor does iverson. the point is, anyone can catch fire, but give me someone who can knock em down night in and night out, such as richard hamilton or sam cassell, rather than a guy who needs to catch fire to have a consistent jumper for a night or two, such as vince, iverson, q-rich, etc..</div> So you're saying Vince doesn't consistently hit his jumpers? Actually he does. Obviously, I don't think any player has consistently hit their jumpers in all 82 games. Sometimes he will have droughts within a game, but he will have tendencies to consistently hit them in other games, or during the same game. I'm basically saying that Vince is a good jump shooter naturally which means he WILL miss jumpers like every other player from time to time, and it's unstoppable when he's on fire. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think Vince's J should be compared to Iverson and Q-Rich, nothing against them but he's a much better shooter than those two. He's no Rip Hamilton, Michael Redd or Ray Allen with his mid-range J, but it's pretty good.</div> True. But when Iverson's on fire, I would seriously put him in the same league as Vince. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You had no point, it was dumb. </div> How was it "dumb"? My point was that Iverson and Carter are easily the best jump shooters when they're on fire. Open your eyes and read.
the first guy that comes into my mind is kyle korver, he just sucks at 3 pointers.jk, but the first guy i think of is allen iverson,i watch almost all the sixers games and i always feel nervous wen iverson shoots becuase i always think its gonna miss. sometimes he would go like missing 6 in a row, if he can hit jumpers consistently he wud definitely be a mvp canidate every single year
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">How about my man KMart? Can you imagine him with a jumper? Scary.</div> Whoa he'd be ahead of Brand and J'O maybe, he's already such a major shot blocker and great rebounder.

Players like cassell and hamilton only miss like half their jumpers, people like vince miss a higher percentage of their jumper. And if vince wasnt so good at getting to the rim, his shooting percentage would actually probably be lower. Vince is not a true jump shooter and neither is iverson. He is not in the same class as redd, allen, peja, sam, rip, wally, etc. He is a better player than most of the people i just named, but that doesn't mean he is a good jump shooter. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">True.
