Tell her you won't because no matter how you work around it, your daughter is bound to notice at some point that you are banging multiple women, and that ain't the right way to raise a kid. Kids need stable examples. They don't need to see you lieing and cheating on women. You want your daughter to grow up living up to your example? Even as an admitted nutjob, frownyface is a mom and has a right to decide who her son spends time with. You don't get to say "I spaced it" when you take her son out with your current flame. Again, get your shit together on this. You did the right thing when she tried to kill herself, so it's not like you aren't capable when the shit hits the fan. But again, you are setting a bad example for her son when you ignore her mom's wishes, and you aren't doing anything to make the situation more stable. Notice the recurring words here? Kids. Stable. Example. You can't control what that psycho ex of yours does next, but you can do a hell of a lot better job of creating a stable example for the kids. Jerry Springer is a lot of fun to watch, and you've got a hillarious Jerry Springer life going on there. But Jerry Springer is no good for little kids. It's your job to do everything you can to change the channel to Mr. Rogers. If I sound pretty preachy, I'm sorry. I've been the Jerry Springer dude, and frankly it's awesome to sometimes think about in retrospect. I've had heroin junkies for roommates, been stoned and drunk for weeks straight, cheated, had sex in the workplace, had the ugly fights and the fantastic makeup sex, done the once-a-month hate screw, and maybe even a few things I ain't proud of. But I've got two kids and a great wife now, and that's all over. I'm rocking the Mr Rogers lifestyle, and I sleep well. I hope you're getting to that place too.
