lol, i know as that is how it was on you tube. Who knows what the dude who uploaded it might have been smoking.
I'm confused by this. 33rd & Sandy is not by our neighborhood whatsoever. It's on the OTHER side of I-84. And it doesn't go thru to Hawthorne....... you might be thinking of 39th/Cesar Chavez Blvd.
I meant to type 39th. Not 33rd. Its 6 blocks different. How is that not by your neighborhood whatsoever??? 6 blocks???sigh.... Okay. I conscede. You dont have homeless people on your block.....they are 6 blocks over. Holy hell i was sooooo far off. That's like a whole nother world. 6 blocks. Lol.
I have a question. Have you ever actually driven around the east side of town? A little geography lesson for you guy. The Alameda neighborhood is the Yellow X...... 33rd & Sandy is the GREEN ARROW and 39th down to Hawthorne is the RED ARROW. I live nowhere near these areas you claim. What are you taking about, 6 blocks away? Just move on. There are rough areas and bad sections of every town and city. You tossed a blanket statement out that doesn’t hold weight.
39th is 6 blocks off 33rd. I said i have seen them from hawthorne to sandy. I didnt say i ddint ssw them continuing north bt if tou want to get specific, there is a park nkrth of i5 Nd dant on 39th that i used to drive by on a daily basis from interntial south to sandy. This park also had them hanging. Im done discussing this with you. I said i think the homeless are pretty much spread out all over east portland. You circled 3, 12 -15 block radiuses and mentioned some neighborhoods of which i brought up links showing those neighborhoods having to deal with the homeless in recent times. I brought up a map with homeless camps littering the bulk of the east side. Agree to disagree if you like As far as where i reside, follow along or move on. Ive only been in canby since this spring. Ill leave the rest of the details for you to either research
You also mentioned laurelhurst park. I posted a link on how they have had to go to the city to ask for s homeless ban. So there is an article that states one of the neighborhoods is trying to ban the homeless. Another, the one you live in, had to build homeless shelters IN alameda.
There are homeless up and down mlk and grand. North and south. They are also up and down 39th , 62nd, 82nd, 102nd, 92nd, 122nd, 162nd from foster to airport way or interntional way. Thats north to south. There are homeless basically from the willamette to gresham on powell, division, hawthorne, stark, parts of halsey and glisan, all up and down sandy. This is pretty much all over the east side. Of course thers are pockets without homeless and of course on the streets i listed there arent camps on every block. I drive through the east side twice a week still even though im in Canby. Some people may take different routes and one street off may seem fine when you cant see the homeless a couple blocks over. Doesnt mean they werent around the corner or a few blocks away. They migrate and move to and fro so a camp seen on a corner this week will be on another corner in a couple weeks. I do not beleive it a stretch or sensationalizing when i say my opinion is the homeless are all over the east side. Thats pretty accurate based on my observations combined with factually referenced links to back up my opinion. Well at least one thing is sure. S2 has a representative for all types of people.
I never relized geography got down to the building by building level. But a Questions for you. Would it be an alright idea to tie up the MarAzul at the dock near the Moda Center for a night?
