I think the best two frontcourt combinations are: Harkless Aminu Plumlee/Ezeli -Harkless and Aminu are interchangeable defensively which is really valuable. Neither C can shoot so they work better with 4 perimeter players. Turner Davis Meyers -Davis and Meyers compliment each other well as a defensive/offensive big man pairing. One can score inside and the other can shoot. Both work well with Turner because Davis is good in pick n roll and Meyers is good in the pick n pop.
Stotts does that early in the season..this time might be different though with the contracts in place and the depth. Might showcase someone he wants to trade at the deadline but I expect the 10 man rotation most nights unless it's a blowout game
I think they'll start the season with Lillard, McCollum, Crabbe, Aminu and Plumlee and work the new guys into the rotation starting them off the bench. I think Crabbe will get the start and split minutes with Turner coming in when Dame sits. Turner, Harkless, Leonard, Ezeli and Davis will make up the bench mob early...Turner and Ezeli might take the starting spots 20 games in or so
Shooting Lineup: Dame / CJ / Crabbe / Aminu / Leonard Defensive Lineup: Dame / Crabbe / Turner / Aminu / Ezeli Alternates: Harkless, Davis Supersmallball Lineup: Dame / CJ / E.T. or A.C. / Harkless / Aminu SuperBig Lineup: Turner / Crabbe / Aminu / Leonard / Ezeli Alternates: Dame/CJ, Harkless, Davis Scrappy/Hustle: Dame / CJ / Harkless / Aminu / Davis / Athletic Lineup: Dame / CJ / Harkless / Aminu / Plumlee
Nice Bones. That lays it out in laymen s terms and wow! It looks like we should have an answer for just about any style any team wants to toss at us.
Tanking Lineup: Napier / Connaughton / Montero / Layman / Vonleh If it can work in summer league it can work during the season.
