I was thinking the same thing, It's like there is a room somewhere in the back and Arod's, the Yankees, and MLB are scripting so it becomes a win win win for all three. I really can't stand the man anymore, how he has represented himself while a member of this organization is disgusting. Name one other Yankee that was so talented and was still crucified by the fans.

...no evidence that you can "see"?...why in the world would MLB openly publicize the evidence they have?

Far different reasons for sure , Poor Roger went through hell. But Arod just drains you. And we only have ourselves to blame for it.

...please tell me that is not a rhetorical question.

...are you seriously telling me that you cannot figure out why MLB would not want to show their cards just yet?

I cannot figure it out, this has been going for months, it's not a court case, just tell us what you got and let's move on.

So please, tell me why they would not "show their cards"

...let me get this straight, you think that MLB should tell the union what what evidence they have on players before the suspensions are announced and before it even goes before an arbitrator?

...forget the Union?...yeah, you're on top of things.

...and I love the entitlement attitude...MLB will present its case when they are ready, not when you and the world are ready.

They're under no obligation to tell the world anything. It's just like they never fully released all the evidence they had against Pete Rose. In fact if the plea rumors are true for any of these players it looks like an attempt for them to save face and not have the extent of everything uncovered.

So why say anything at all? why would they not simply say we have reason to suspend these 20 players and those that want to know why can pound sand?

The players and their lawyers should know why. Baseball is under no obligation to tell us anything.

59, Messiah, I feel that this is just the start. Arod now has lost I feel some leverage in his potential negotiations with MLB. Not knowing the degree of evidence MLB has, I feel one of 2 things now happens

    1) MLB takes the opportunity to announce all pending suspension of any players that they have met with. Possible only announcing there names with a deadline to meet with MLB and Players union to negotiate mutually agreed upon suspensions and try to put all this behind in the 2013 Season and not carry into another year. It is to everyones advantage that this story gets handled and players. teams and fans move on.

    2) Anyone for example named Rodriguez, we met, and have given you time to make your intentions known. The longer he waits, the more evidence accumulate that will prohibit any potential recovery of insurance
money and thus expediting his ultimate end of his Yankee ties.
