Nobody's tax returns should ever be seen by anyone other than the IRS. That's the law in general and the IRS would have a hard time getting anyone to file if it were not the law.

If there was a crime apparent in his tax returns, it would have been reported by the IRS and prosecuted long ago.

 

Only took them 20 years or so to get Capone on tax evasion....Trump's got modern paper shredders and tax shelters ...and he's stalled long enough to have a complete second set of "books"....an old New York City mobster trick.

 

He probably thought the first set was coloring books. ba dum tis...

By the way, did you read the part in the Mueller report that he was not absolving Trump? How could he without looking at Trump's returns which he is hiding oh so desperately?

I'm not sure the IRS can prosecute a crime unless it involves criminal activity regarding incorrect reporting of taxable income. I know that drug criminals are not prosecuted by the IRS unless they don't report their illicit income.
