they shot 90 rounds and 60 of them hit the suspect. If you review the body cam footage they almost shot their colleagues. It looked like he did fire first at them while he was in the car, then left it in the car and took off. So I see why they opted to shoot hi. 90 shots though, this is gonna be a problem

With regard to this thread, the reality is that poor white males are just as likely to be killed by police as poor black males. The difference lies in economic demographics between the two races. I don’t believe all cops are bad. I think cops are trigger happy though because we live in a crazy world and they just wanna do their job and go home to their families at night. I do believe like any other profession there is shit cops out there. Just like there’s shit doctors, shit priests, etc.. There’s just a lot of shit people in this world unfortunately.
It was spread that the cops in the Uvalde shootings didn’t do shit because they were Mexicans and people didn’t care about Mexicans. It wasn’t until people realized that Uvalde police is about 90% Latino(a) that the narrative shifted. But I do think there is an inherent racism problem in this country. But I believe it’s in those peoples nature and they aren’t even aware of it
Cops are in a bad system that trains them wrong and puts the good ones with bad partners who they have to trust their life to. All cops aren't bad, but far too many cops certainly are.
Although I don't agree with the general language of @Paine Tablet I can relate to his pessimistic feelings toward hypocrisy and his attitude. Not speaking about anyone specific, but I definitely get lost in the woods and what is the truth and what I should focus my limited effort on. It can be very frustrating.
First off, 6 cops have this dude down. There was no need to shoot him to begin with. Second, how can a cop pull out her gun, fire it shooting her partner, and think it came from elsewhere? Then she kills the guy for good measure. Lock her ass up.
