    And why is that bad for a 21 ppg, 9 rpg, 1.2 blocks and 3 assist player?

    Didn't say it was bad. Just that it'll cost a chunk of change to keep him.

    I think at one point, you gotta pay the players that get you over the hump. I expect Dame to get his too when he's off his rookie contract. Is Batum at his worth? We will see.

    I think any team can afford 3 near max players; then surround them with manageable role players. That's the way to be relevant. Right now; we have two marquee quality players and just need one more. I hope and pray Batum gets there because we won't have to do anything "BIG"

    Sure. At some point you pay for the players you really want to keep.
