I'd give anyone but Roy for CP3- I'd keep one of Aldridge/Oden, but they could have their run of the rest of the roster. CP3 is probably better than Roy to be honest, but I couldn't emotionally part with Roy short of Lebron.

With Roy/CP3/Batum/Aldridge/Pryzbilla we are probably just short of contending this year.

I hate bullshit rumors like this one because it gets my hopes up although it would never happen. Lets not forget who has to approve trades... David Stern. He is not going to allow a trade like that to happen.

Why not? Stern can't disallow a trade just because he doesn't like it. And why would he care about this one?:dunno:

Portland receives: Chris Paul, Peja Stojakovic, Hilton Armstrong
New Orleans receives: RLEC, CFEC, IDEC, Jerryd Bayless, Nicolas Batum, Rudy Fernandez

Boredom leads to this. Heck of a consolidation deal, though.

PG: Chris Paul / Steve Blake / Sergio Rodriguez
SG: Brandon Roy / Martell Webster
SF: Peja Stojakovic / Nicolas Batum
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Travis Outlaw
C: Greg Oden / Joel Przybilla

If you trade away Batum, you can't use him to back up Peja.

Man.. I'd sell the farm to have a CP3/Roy backcourt, along with one of either LaMarcus or Greg. But that will just remain in my dreams... stupid JA Adande, why'd he have to bring something like this up??
