Well that changes the numbers a bit. Pau was, on paper, the 2nd best guy we got during the the off-season. Old Team vs New Team minus common players excluding Kanter. Average BPM & RPM last year, weighted by minutes. Old Team -0.27 Aminu, Harkless, Turner, Layman, Curry, Leonard New Team -1.78 Whiteside, Bazemore, Hezonja, Tolliver, Melo, Skal, Pau Translates to about 9 wins worse on paper. Nurk & Collins down another 11 wins. Puts us at 33 wins or so this year. Time to develop our young guys for next year!!! Nurk, Whiteside, Collins, Little, Dame, CJ, Simons is still a decent core. Simons & Little are promising but raw and need a lot of work. We are not deep enough. Need a couple more decent players.
So he can coach and rehab without hogging a roster spot, and if and when he can play again, we can waive somebody and sign him to play, right? Not suggesting that, juat wondering if it's possible under the CBA?
