Green has his act down just like the chainsaw juggler in Venice Beach...he's put together a hell 0f a show. I don't think he's got a huge temper...he talks like Chris Rock
I said it somewhere else. Green and their midsize guys are beefy compared to ours, but Vonleh has the beef to bounce hips right back I think. Good call.
I'm not sure Stott's need make any adjustments, other than stay on top of who's hot and who's not and when someone is hot, leave him in the game *cough*Dame at the end of the third*cough*. Other than that, the biggest adjustments have already been made. Blazers will win Game three because of the energy in the Moda. We will win game four because I will be there. We will win game 5 down there after beating them twice and almost 3 times in a row, giving us confidence. And then we will close them out next Friday night here, again... because I will be there. Call Guinness. It's in the books
Have the Blazers watch game 2 over and over and over....have a practice ...then have them watch game 2 over and over and over...repeat till saturday
I'm moving from Buffalo Trace to Maker's Mark, and Glenmorangie to Oban. Normally, I wear my Blazer underwear only, with one boot on the left foot and one on the TV. I may change feet. I also may invert my Blazer blanket and alter the pinwheel direction.
Adjustments? Stotts is too stubborn to change his defense, and there is nothing they can do differently on offense given the tools Olshey has given him.
They can watch the tape 5,000 times . If plumlee is in they will just go small ball on us.....sigh...freaking draymond green is a beast, ugh... and how the hell so we game plan for curry?????
I know it's out there and people won't agree with me but. Stotts should bench Lillard he was horrible. He's not even an all-star this year...
He's always been an option. Thinking that he'd significantly and positively impact the series is blind homerism.
The only way he can help is defensively. We'd still have uber troubles offensively with him out there, and we just can't afford that. Our only way of winning, it seems, is for 1 of Dame or CJ to be hot (preferably both), with 2+ bench players contributing 10+ points, along with Harkless' usual production he has been doing for the last month, month and a half. Oh, and GS not shooting the lights out... that's big too.
I'm of two minds on Vonleh. One, yeah if he's the answer you're asking the wrong question. But, we've seen one perfectly executed defensive play win a playoff game before. Remember when Joel Freeland perfectly cut off Harden on his last play drive to the paint, confusing him so much that he basically had no recourse but to heave a crappy shot that lost the game? Sometimes, a great play by a bench player can make things happen.
