With the lost of the coordinators and maybe even your defensive leader it's going to be tough. They have the hardest schedule in football but they are the Pats so you never know what Belichik has cooking around in NE.
I can't wait til those rose colored glasses are ripped from the heads of pats fans everywhere - hopefully it's buffalo that does the ripping.
Its not my fault we have one of the deepest teams and I'm not just talking players...we have had a few all I hear is this wil crush the pats that will crush the pats and I'm always worried but they continue to move on with whatever losses they encounter so why should I doubt them now? Nevermind that our coaching staff is incredible...cus just like its not just bill thats getting it done and it wasn't just weis and crennel...its the whole staff. They should have lost crennel and weis two years ago...something tells me they are prepared....
I think they are a playoff team no doubt about it. I also think they will come very close to a 3rd SB but 3 straight SB's is hard. As a football fan it's been fun to see one of the best dynasty's come together and if they do win a 3rd SB then you almost have to say this is the best all around team ever assembled. I think NE could get 4 in 8 years or 5 in 10 years as long as they keep their players. Bufflo will be a tough team in the near future for NE if Losman develops. The Bills came up strong last year and I expect them to challenge NE and the Jets soon. Maybe not this year but you can't overlook the talent all those teams have.

Never underestimate Belichick, Brady, & Company.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>J.P. Loserman is totally unproven...Yeah, you can bring up the Dolphins' QBs, but everyone knows how I felt about Jay Feeble and I've haven't given a vote of confidence to Feeley or Frerotte either...Again, I would wait until McGahee has played 16 games in a single year before I annointed him the greatest RB in the AFC East...Let's see what McGahee does now that everyone has seen him and will be gameplanning to stop him. This year may prove to be a bit more difficult than last year.</div> I said earlier that Losman is even a more of unknown than Feeley. Isn't interesting how people want to forecast how bad Feeley will suck after last years performance but apparently McGahee is effin invincibill (pun - get it?). With the improvement in Miami's in the OLine & Linehan's system, Whoever is the QB will do fine. My preference is Rosenfels. Please Dale. Recap how you really feel about Noodlearm Jay. If there is any justice, Feidler will play against Miami this yr & have typical game. While trying to complete a "simple" 10 yd out pattern to Coles, he underthrows it and Zach or JT picks it off and goes the other way to paydirt

Somehow, I think you got a hold of Ricky's stash.[/quote] Trust me when I say this, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL Buffalo finishes worse then second in our division this year - just not gonna happen - we'll be fighting with the pats for first and second (and if we don't win at least our home game against them our only hope would be to finish with a better record then them, but that's really not gonna happen), the jets will be fighting with you guys for third, and they'll take it - we've got the Jet's number this year mark my words. This season will all come down to how Buffalo handles the Pats at Ralph Wilson Stadium. If we can take that one away from them, and finish with at least the same record, we've got a great chance to take the East. and for the record - pot isn't really that great of a drug - alcohol and a little coke every now and then are my drugs of choice (not together though).
1. Pats- It's a joke to put anyone ahead of them. They are the SB champs and until proven wrong they are the heavy fav. 2. Jets- Good team back. Pennington needs to stay healthy. The were a kicker away from the AFC Title game last year. 3. Bills- Best defense in the AFC this year in my opinion. They will be tough and Maghee will carry the o. 4. Fins- They are rebuilding. Found there back. Ricky might be back but has to serve a suspenison. Feely has questions and defense is getting older.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>3. Bills- Best defense in the AFC this year in my opinion. </div> I understand its your opinion but this is highly debateable..NE continues to be a dominant defense on pure scheme alone and our secondary is as deep as its ever been... nevermind having a better D-line and overall LB corp...but baltimore will be the best overall defense IMO with NE,Pitt,Buf,and NYJ rounding out the top 5...it will be very tight between those 4 and isn't really clear cut...though no team makes more big plays in the last 4 years than NE on defense. Just look at every playoff game we have had and you'll find an absolutely huge TO..but usually more than 1.
I agree with you but I think Bufflo is going to come out on top with the Ravens close. The Bills did finish #2 in total defense last year only behind Pitt so saying they will have the Best D is very possible.
Ya I never agree with the way they rank defenses in the NFL...total yards means shit...total points should be where its at...
pats 37, you know you're kind of a homer right - at least you have an excuse - if the bills won 3 SBs in 4 years, I'd be a big homer too, but the Bills had the #1 fantasy D last year in addition to being #2 statistically in yards allowed, led the league in takeaways, and finished like 3rd or 4th in sacks - make no mistake, this is a mean defense -except when we play you guys - but if Bledsoe - who is gone thank god, didn't cough the ball up for you guys on a regular basis I bet our games would have been a lot closer last year and the year before see week 1 season before last - regardless of whether or not we got milloy days before opening day, this team is capable of beating any team in the league (actually on any given sunday - or monday for the phins still holds true). Alright, I'm tired - and that's my excuse if I'm not all that coherent.

And we did lose that game because the team was a tiny bit shocked by losing their D-captain the week before the opener.....but what happened when we saw you again....ya we stuck it right back in your face by the exact same score....as for being a homer..if I was truely a homer I'd sit here saying oh we are going to win 3 straight no doubt..blah blah blah....but right now the facts show us being the favorite to win the AFC east and be another top team in the AFC...where does starting a first year QB make the Bills a top contender???? Not everyone finds a Tom Brady...or even a Rothlisberger and the arrogent Losman will struggle this year...oh and he had a turnover in like 3 plays against our back ups last season too....he might as well have handed it to Tully Banta-Cain...haha As for Fantasy points...in yahoo standard leagues Baltimore - 186 Buffalo - 185 New Englan - 177 Pittsburg - 176 After those 4 the drop off is more than 10 points....but in total points allowed Pitt - 233 Was - 239 New England - 248 Balt - 254 Phi - 254 JAX - 256 NYJ - 259 Buf - 266 Now IMO those points will go up with an inexperianced first year QB at helm not leading as many good drives....but I guess your not a homer since you think Willis is invincible and JP is automaticly solid...... also I have never said buffalo isn't a very good defense..or "mean" as you call them...I just was trying to say give someone else..especially the best defense in the league (baltimore)...some credit...
I'm not taking anything away from Baltimore - they've been a better then solid D for the last 5 years. and got a superbowl out of it. I KNOW willis isn't invincible - see his last college game? But I do have serious faith that JP will be better then solid by week 5 - and we'll have at least 3 wins by the time week 5 rolls around (thanks in part to us starting out with the Texans in Week 1, then we get atlanta which could be a challenge for us, however, teams with strong secondaries tend to contain vick pretty well - I don't expect that game to be a high scorer, but I do think we'll pull out the win especially in Buffalo. Then we get Tampa Bay which could be a problem depending on how well they execute Gruden's O (still one of the best O guys in the league) If JP plays a conservative game and we pound the ball with McGahee eat up the clock, and our D plays consistent, we get the win still. My point is, we saw how Roethlisberger wasn't asked to do a whole lot because the rest of his team was talent laden - well guess what the rest of Buffalo is talent laden too - we don't need JP to go out and try to win games - we just need him to not turn the ball over and not hold on to it too long unlike someone we know who's initials are D.B.
