Nogeuira did look slow and lethargic out there and he wasn't really countering or adjusting to the simple things Mir was doing. I have to wonder what he was thinking. I don't think he's done, but I also don't think he'll ever be a contender again either. Nog vs Couture would be great, but if Randy lost that match, he can kiss a Fedor match bye-bye too. Evans should face Rampage or the Silva/Machida fight winner. Wand should consider dropping to 185, although he wasn't hurt by Rampage's size, but his inability to take a good punch anymore and that won't change much at 185. He's like an aging porn star.. the miles are starting to show. UFC 92 was easily one of the best cards of the year and the pacing of the show was absolutely the best. Hardly much delay time, they threw in undercard fights to fill downtime... I hope this is a sign of things to come!
no, just thought if Rampage really wants Griffin next, then the winner of that bout deserves the title shot. Shogun is the monkey in the system, but since he's fighting Mark Coleman, he needs at least 1 more quality win to deserve a title shot IMO.
In my mind I think it would go something like this, Rampage vs Evans then Shogun vs Machida/Silva for #1<--I think the UFC does this because Shogun can probably beat either of the 2 and I think they would rather have him than Silva or Machida contending. I like Machida but in reality we all know hes not much of a draw for the more casual fans. Forrest vs Chuck. <--This match would make sooooooooo much money for the UFC and if Forrest and Rampage(vs Evans, Shogun) go on to win it sets up the rematch better as it is for the title.
I would like to see Forrest/Chuck. Chuck doesn't have many more fights left in him, give him some big money fights. Chuck wants Rashad, but he doesn't deserve him.
