Vert is the highest point you can jump, hangtime is how long you can stay in the air, not necessarily that high.

I always stretch before anything, I get really right without it. So thats not a problem for me.
Sorry for the major bump but I'm just starting on this program and I'm wondering how many of you have actually gained good results and how long did you do it for?

The volume is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much, and it's severe overtraining. Therefor you are extremely more prone to injury.Lifting weights/normal plyometrics are more effective anyway.

How many inches did you gain? And do you think stretching and loosening up the muscles before the training will help reduce the risk of injuries?

Possibly severely. If it isn't the muscles that get injured, it will be the joints in your knees. If you want to jump higher, I'll make you up a program. Don't do AA.

Heh you're funny, man.Stretching helps warm up muscles, helping things like pulling a muscle or something along those lines. It can't help overtraining, which can cause severe damage to joints and muscle. I'll post some articles later that have stats and stuff showing how bad AA can F*ck you up.
It's okay in the first weeks, but after awhile its just overkill, don't do it. You're better off doing plyometrics, and other leg exercises than this.

Don't do it.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Nitro1118 @ Jul 11 2007, 06:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I gained a few inches, but that's because I never did any training before AA.It will help slightly, but doing thousands of jumps per workout 5x a week is gonna injure you. I want to do air alert again but it so dang hard, I got through 8 weeks of it.And my knees were really sore (the bone) for like half a year
Really? I thought this stuff would really help, we were talking like 14 inches more. That would put me at the least a 35 inch vertical.

RF1, haven't you done this before and gained 10 inches you said?</div>No. I said I wanted to gain 10 inches. However I attempted it before and got around an inch or so...it was only about 2 1/2 weeks. I think imma stop now since everyone says it so bad.
No one do this, I did it last year and like most of you stuffed my shins. Vertical Jump Bible is a much btter program to get.
Haha sweet, I'm gonna start this now, I just dl'd it off the net. I love it gonna start tomorrow. Word
You have to be in crazy shape to do this actually. I think it's worth it, I'm just too lazy to complete the whole program
