If he would hustle his butt off play defense and do everything he could to win there's nothing wrong with those numbers. Teams win titles with guys averaging less. I'm skeptical of him as well I think he might want to be an allstar starter more than doing all the small things it takes to win. It's interesting how there was all the talk the last two years about how close the Blazers team was and how much guys got along. There was none of that talk the year before we had Lillard and the vibe in PDX locker room is just as good now if not better than last year.
I don't know that he'll crash and burn, but I agree with the rest of this. He's definitely learning he has to start wearing his big boy skivvies every day. I think this year....at least....will be a waste of one of Duncan's few remaining years while Aldridge adjusts. It will be an interesting story to watch, especially from afar.....
