I disagree. I think LA isn't playing well right now and the team is slumping. I have full confidence that by the playoffs we'll be Red Hot & Rollin' once again.
Somebody on twitter last night said that the Portland Tribune had confirmed that LA had broken his tailbone. Pretty sure it was somebody from S2, lol...
Leonard has been playin better the past 2-3 games, I'd like to see them both play a good bit and well
With Freeland out for the year and the playoffs (probably) looming, there's no better time for these lotto picks to step forward and show they've got something. At the very least they should be fresh.
Robinson and especially Leonard both have a lot to learn. I'd say, in their second years, they are both playing like rookies, albeit rookies with potential. The more minutes we can give them the better for their development and for the team's chances next season. Young bigs need time.
Seems to be the natural progression of the PF spot in Portland. Either that or Lillard should ask the team to trade him a la Roy/Zach.
I have had a very similar fall to the one LA took on the court but mine was playing outdoor full court in Hawaii on concrete. It'll heal but give him limited movement for a long stretch. Not sure what Joel Freeland's status is but has anyone else notice how much he's been missed since his injury? I hope LaMarcus did not sustain a deep bruise on the tailbone. TRob and Meyers are learning on the fly and together they can develop a decent frontcourt off the bench. Sort of photo negatives of each other.
The problem with that idea is for TRob to play 40 minutes, the NBA would have to expand the number of personal fouls to nine from six.
