Pops uses kid gloves on Aldridge because he knows he's got a fragile ego. Aldridge will be gone this offseason. His demeanor and approach to the game doesn't jive with Pops. Without a doubt he'll be traded.
Clippers have nothing to offer back and Spurs will at least want something. Indiana with their #17 pick to appease George before his final season and maybe get a little more competitive to make him stay, or Chicago with thar #16 pick as a I think they have liked him for a long time and he would fit in age wise would be good destinations. Knowing Spurs, whoever they would get with that mid-first round pick, they would become All-Star within 3 years.
its interesting that guys like LMA and Horford who were 30ish and got big contracts just aren't IMO living up to them, I like Milsap a lot but anyone who pays him big dollars at 32 is IMO going to regret it
That's possible if Suns end up drafting a point guard (Fox) but I don't think they will offer Bender. He's still very young and has potential, Bledsoe alone would be a fair offer.
Bledsoe's injury history isn't enough to land LA straight across, Phoenix would have to sweeten the pot. They have enough young players to do so though.
LA will get traded to Ind for PG (Sarg is the coach) and Spurs will trade him to Portland for our whole team/picks, except for our big three.
Dafuq? That's not the Aldridge I remember. I remember a soft skinny "big" who had absolutely NO back to the basket (BTTB) game to speak of in his first 3 or so seasons. He did work hard on his body and his BTTB but was STILL SOFT and not able to hold low post position. That's why the fade away is his go to move. Before Pop he had no left hand to speak of. Ever. He still RARELY gets to the bucket on high post face up drives because he still sucks at dribbling.
Exactly my point. I saw a game on National tv maybe his rookie year and he got mad and posted Duncan up a few times. I was like "this guy is gooooooood" Never saw that guy again
