Have you not seen Leonard's play as of yet? Give him 28ish minutes a night and he can give us 12/8. Freeland in the same minutes would be around the same, less efficient but better D.

sorry, but even if that occurred (big if) it not at all the same effect as having LMA

That's probably true. I was just trying to think of a cheap replacement. I still think someone like Kevin Martin off the bench is far more important.
And I know you can't draw conclusions off a single game, but last night the starters seemed to score more efficiently (minus Dame) than they have all season. If Nic has turned the corner I think the group as a whole can replace LMA's scoring. But it definitely puts the pressure squarely on Nic/Wes to have consistently good games.

As long as Rolo and Freeland come back by the first game after the all-star break then I agree that someone like Kevin Martin is still a bigger need then another big.

We nic so badly right now! He needs to be aggressive on the offensive end until Aldridge comes back.

Doesn't even need to be Martin, I will take ANYONE who can give us 10+ consistently. I'd even look into Marcus Thornton.

I am a little worried about Kaman burning out/getting injured (knock on wood) but I will say even when starting so far Stotts is doing a good job of keeping his minutes in the 25 range. Just don't go 30 Stotts or this will be bad news.

I don't see much low hanging fruit out there to pick up for cheap to help out at PF.

I like Malcolm Thomas who was DPOY in the D League and an offensive force, too. However, he's on the end of the bench for Philly. He might be had for a 2nd round pick - a price NO may not want to pay. I'm not suggesting he starts and takes LMA's minutes, but you might need him for depth and he might get some minutes.

I think the strategy is to see how it goes for a game or two or three. Then take stock of things and then consider moves.

I think we'll be fine at PF..it's only 6-8 weeks and Leonard, Wright,Batum, Claver, TRob, Kaman can all play the 4. and Joel and Rolo will be back soon

If we were to get a big my list pretty much stops at Jermaine as an insurance and playoffs backup. Trade two backups for a vet wing and sign Jermaine.

Don't get me wrong...I love Dame....but this is a crushing loss. Without LMA, this is a .500 team.

MODS: can you change the title? You accidentally put "Aldridge" when you meant "Damn Near Everyone".

Just curious, where do you have to be to qualify for the injury exception?
