To jump on the idea of not having LA a center, we don't want him having to bang with 300 pounders on a nightly basis. I think LA could make for a decent center, but he will wear down and be unhappy. Blazers need a true center for 20-30 minutes a night.

I always remembered many comparing Jefferson's D and scoring ability to Zach years ago. When we ever played them; I see the similarities. Jefferson is not even close to a good protector; but he rebounds like crazy, clogs the paint and won't let you back him down. Sometimes that's just as valuable.

As I mentioned before, Tyson Chandler would be perfect next to lma. Sucks he is off limits

Oddly enough, that's what I see Leonard turning into if he improves his d.

Phoenix Suns center Jermaine O'Neal and general manager Lance Blanks engaged in a blistering, expletive-laced confrontation in the coach's office on Monday, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

"It was really bad," one Suns source said Tuesday afternoon.

well the more he plays IMO the faster that process is, we ain't goin nowhere this yr, I say trade Hickson if we can get some decent value back and play meyers a ton.

His problem is staying on the floor. Too much foul trouble.

I think I have made my stance on Leonard clear, but the only way we will ever know is to play him. Throw him out there and let him figure out the foul issues

What process? The guy is a natural power-forward, his reaction time/anticipation skills are below average for a defensive player. If we're not going anywhere then I do agree they should put Leonard out there as much as possible and try to develop him (if possible) but LA as a full-time center is just not a very good idea.

I agree with you. Just sayin... I doubt he can even get up to 30 mins without fouling out. That problem will resolve itself, however.

Play him until he fouls out or figures it out then.

Leonard has been out for a while and just came back.

On a related note in this thread, I want Lillard to play SG, because the current SG isn't as good as the PG, just like the current C isn't as good as LMA.

give him six foul every game. if he gets two quick ones, let him sit for 5 minutes. as MM points out, no reason to not play him more, if he is our future.
