He just can't stop trolling, can he? There's only one person I blame. And it's the person Canzano doesn't.
Stopped reading him a couple years ago. Goes out of his way to stir things up. I guess he gets people to read it but it became very predictable.
I never thought there could be a bigger Villian than when LBJ left Cleveland in the dust until LA. He's gonna get boo'd and mocked at from many fanbases. He hates media then? Wait until the Spurs start failing and the Spurs jump on him. We may need some popcorn for this one
People have been saying those stats don't count since 2013. How are they not relevant? I posted every single all-star since 1999 that had gone to UFA. 3 of the (now 39) signed a contract with their original team. 25 left for nothing. Those 7 that got traded all brought in a better haul than...nothing. Yes, I think that you should trade a max free agent that is about to leave you for nothing, and I said that last year and the year before. For this very damn reason. We KNEW he said in 2013 he wasn't re-signing. Then he maybe changed his mind, fine. Then we KNEW in July 2014 that he didn't sign an extension. A MAX extension. One that could've set him up for another long-term payday later. I have no beef with you saying you would've taken the same risk the Blazers did. I vehemently disagree with you saying that the 3/39 number isn't relevant. And Kevin Love brought in a pretty decent haul with only 1 year left on his contract. CLE's offer was pretty good. Dwight brought a good haul back for ORL. We got cap space, after the top 20 or so FA's have agreed to contracts.
Yeah I agree. Trading away Batum for a project was painfully obvious looking back on it now. LaMarcus is such a fickle guy Neil said the right PR statements in case he changed his mind. But he made the best moves to rebuild for a few years from now. It sucks we couldn't get assets for 3 of our starters but I'm sure Neil didn't expect the season to end the way it did. Perfect hindsight is nice now but back in February there weren't any fans who wanted the Blazers to trade LaMarcus.
Let's count all the fanbases that hates his guts: Blazers Suns Lakers Rockets Raptors Knicks Mavericks (maybe)
He will be boo'd in portland for the rest of his career. This next year phx and lal may boo him too. He's not the villain like lbj was
what do you mean, "max players can't sign extensions"? LMA could've signed 3/55M last year. Two years ago he could've signed a 4yr extension that bumped his salary up to a new max level with our leftover cap space. Maybe I'm misunderstanding here...Coon CBA 60 talks about extensions.
You guys are giving these "journalists" too much credit. Players don't care about them. They only talk to them because they have to. There are exceptions but for the most part they mean as much to players as the shit on the bottom of their shoes.
Many Blazer fans could never see anything good in Zach or Sheed. They could not see anything bad in LaPuke until it was too late. Maybe this is a weird form of Karma.
