    How many players actually finish their careers in one place these days? There's a whole lot of things that can (and will) happen between now and when he's eligible for free agency. I wouldn't count on anything honestly.

    I think it will get better. We have to realize he is only been in the league a few years. Steph Curry was an even worse defender than Dame until he got Mark Jackson.

    The thing is, Damian has a history of showing that he's loyal. LaMarcus showed he had a history of being incapable of letting go of Texas.

    For fucks sake, Damian went to Odgen Utah for college. He could've transferred to another school. He signed an extension here when he didn't have to.

    He actually puts himself out there in the community and embraces Portland. When was the last time LaMarcus did that? He was too busy crying into his binky about how much he misses Texas to do that.
