Yes, but the idea is accommodation. To accommodate LA, they send him home. The prodigal son returns!!!!!!!!!

It's been long enough, but we heard it from multiple people at the meet and greets multiple years after he was traded.

Did you see the news about Hayward having a second surgery to address pain recently? No way I trade CJ for that contract without assurance of Gordon's health.

I think you meant to write, "LMA was the biggest head ache for the spurs organization in years." Then he rubbed off on Kawhi, who became an even bigger headache.

LA is one indecisive dude...no need to really revisit that y'know....sure he'd help us big time but long term....hard to trust his mood swings

Regardless, who cares? I'm not working with the Blazers front office. Chill his water the right temperature and give him daily pedicures, I give no fucks. Just bring LA back.

They just took out the hardware in his leg that had been inserted when he broke it. Not a big deal:

Hayward underwent surgery to take out the hardware.

"They said the surgery went really well, and now I just have to let the incision (and my soft tissue in the places where they went in) recover properly," Hayward said. "But that is a really easy recovery. And in probably four to six weeks I will be right back to the point where I was before I got the surgery, except for I won’t have that same pain."

He said he's projected to start running again in July and has been out of the boot for two weeks. “

It was back biting and jealousy of Damian.

I don't want to dismiss this, but do you guys know for certain the people at the meet and greet revealing this don't have an agenda to paint Aldridge as a villain? We've all seen the article last year where he himself came out and highlighted his jealousy of Dame.

But he is three years older and clearly came to the realization that the grass isn't always greener.

All that said, in every public setting, both Dame and CJ have been nothing but complimentary of Aldridge. Not sure why we all should hold grudges when they don't.

“It’s always tough for me to find that balance where I want to tell [Damian] not to do this or this is better,” Aldridge says. “But I don’t want him to feel like I’m trying to hold him back from being who he wants to be. I do regret not talking to him at times, but also I feel like he was trying to find himself.

“I would say him and I have learned more about each other since I left that would’ve helped us when I was there, so I’ve learned from that and I’m trying to be better and not worry if I come off a certain way, because I feel like when people know who I am as a person, they know I have no ill will. I’m more reserved, so I didn’t want to come off as trying to stifle his shine. I just got back in the corner and let him do his thing...I feel like if him and I communicated as much then as we do now, then things would’ve been totally different.”

Damian used to count the number of plays in his head to make sure LMA was getting enough touches. Stotts would make sure LMA was getting plays so he would stay engaged in defense. LMA would turn down local commercial spots then complain that Damian was getting all off the commercial spots. Just before lma walked, Neil asked player by player who LaMarcus wanted to keep or trade. In regard to Batum, LMA said I've played my last game with that mother fucker.

The list goes on, but my memory falters.

All this is not really that bad. That's Dame's job as the lead ball handler to keep his players happy. Lebron said as much about Kevin Love when Love made that stop on Curry in Game 7 in the 2016 finals. We all know Aldridge is petty. Most of these players are. I think if you go through the guys in the NBA, you'd find a lot more like Aldridge than Dame.

That's harsh, but a ton of fans here wanted Nico gone as well.

All this seems meaningless to me. Maybe I'm just tired of seeing the likes of Aminu as our starting PF. I'd rather win 55+ games and deal with the personalities later on. It's still moot however as we clearly don't have the pieces required to land him.

What about the same deal involving Porter instead of Hayward? Or Middleton/Henson? I think there could be several possibilities that could make sense if the Spurs wanted CJ, but wanted to send Aldridge East.
