Yes, panic and trade him to a crappy team for a draft pick and bad contracts.

Are any of you involved in business, actually?

I think LMA's "camp" knows that the odds of finding a place he can exit to at the end of his contract that will meet the parameters he wants are slim and none unless the Blazers facilitate a trade. The number of contending teams having the kind of cap space to give him a max contract is going to be somewhere around zero. That said, I have no problem in moving him, but the Blazers have to get something of value and not the table scraps that have been rumored before.

Visualize any lobby in Las Vegas. It is a madhouse 24/7. No tables or chairs.
A meeting would not occur there. Maybe a room or a 5 star restaurant but not the lobby. They are loud and obnoxious.

Plus Olshey knows LMA's camp. He does not need a meet and greet. Dialogue may have occurred in Las Vegas, but watch the video on this. This is deja vu from last year with Batum and Chris Haynes. He is just creating traffic to their website.

It was a joke. When I hear someone arranging a meeting in a Las Vegas hotel lobby, I think a prostitution deal is going down. But I'm deranged that way . . .

I agree. It just does not seem possible that both the Blazer's and LMA will be happy with any trade scenario. Maybe Houston. How is Jones looking in summer league? Him and Asik would be starting points if Jones looks good.

Edit: Sounds like he has a good summer: http://www.oregonlive.com/nba/index.ssf/2013/07/nba_summer_league_what_theyre.html

Trading Aldridge for a collection of draft picks will not be an option. Thank Christ!! This is music to my ears if Aldridge does get traded.

Especially not with the teams that I'm sure he wants to go to.

Exactly. If only we traded Aldridge to okc for ibaka and harden. I know it wasn't much of a rumor; but okc would be really good.

Those perspective teams holding the rights to Joakim Noah, Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Al Horford and Anthony Davis, as of now, have declined to involve their franchise players in any potential deals for Aldridge, a league source told CSNNW.com.

Well yeah! What's to say Aldridge will stay there? They would trade their franchise player for him? I think not

I just don't see how OKC would have taken the garbage they ended up with from Houston. We could have the best backcourt in the league with Harden and Lillard, and OKC would have Westbrook, Durant, Aldridge. That's one of those few times that both teams win.

Horford for Aldridge is beyond fair.

Or we can trade Aldridge for a high pick and then hope that we suck enough for a high pick and we could have two picks in the most loaded draft in years to go along with Lillard, McCollum, Batum and Leonard.

Yep because harden was an overlap of Westbrook. Aldridge is the one player they needed because they don't really have a low post presence. They lose a little on the defensive end with ibaka going too; but they gain much needed half court scoring.

Our team would have been fun to watch. It would have really worked!
