I think Bowen has to be in the first team. He is a stone wall. On the defending champs.

Larry Hughes is missunderstood as a defender. People assume hes a great defender because of the steals he gets, a statistic in which he is always amongst the league leaders. However, this doesnt mean hes a great defender, it means hes a good gambler and uses his speed and length to intercept balls in a passing lane. It doesnt make him a great defender, simply someone who gambles alot and over plays passing lanes. Sometimes it works out in his favor, sometimes it doesnt. I dont consider him an elite defender..Heres my team:PG-Jason KiddSG-Bruce BowenSF-Shawn MarionPF-Andrei KirilenkoC-Ben WallaceHonorable Mention: Artest, Duncan, Camby, Prince<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB @ Apr 8 2006, 10:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'd put Ron Artest down to 2nd considering he missed half the year....Is Andre Iguodala that good of a defender?</div>I dont think Iggy is a great defender, I think he is a player who uses his athleticism to his advantages and makes some terrific defensive plays as a product of his athleticism and leaping ability. Dont get me wrong, I think he is a solid defensive player, but I dont think he is All-NBA calibre..
