Isiah receiving a vote is worse then Dame receiving a vote but Dame receiving a vote is mind boggling to begin with.
As I recall from a discussion we all had earlier in the year, Bradley's "defensive rating" was down this year. Which as also discussed was based on stats that have a few holes in it's calculations. I was listening to Ramona Shelburne on ESPN radio in LA yesterday explain why she voted for Danny Green and Tony Allen over Klay Thompson, and she freely admitted that she relied on analytics for her vote because she did not see every team on a nightly basis. And that is how a Avery Bradley is left off an all NBA Team. Like Dame said......."Smh they not watchin these games bro"
Richard Walker from the Gaston Gazette is the one who voted for Lillard (left Kawhi Leonard and Avery Bradley completely off his ballot). Marcelo Nogueira from "Ole" voted for Isaiah Thomas (also voted Iguodala first team and Aldridge 2nd team, and left Draymond Green completely off his ballot). http://official.nba.com/wp-content/...-17-NBA-All-Defensive-Team-Voting-Results.pdf
Yeah, but the difference is that there were no particularly qualified Rookie of the Year candidates--so it's someone who wasn't exceptional or someone exceptional who missed a lot of time. In the case of All-Defensive teams, there were other perfectly qualified candidates.
So, essentially, Richard Walker is claiming Lillard is a far better defender than Leonard or Bradley. I wonder if people do this just to gain notoriety. Like, who'd know who Richard Walker was absent this stupidity.
Lol. I apologize. I got confused, and thought this was in the OT area. Kinda too gross for that area anyways. My bad....
